Warranty conditions


1. WARRANTY PERIOD
For orders placed since April 15, 2017, Horses Home INB® guarantees that our hanit® plastic recycling products are free from material defects at the time of delivery and for 15 years thereafter.

The color scheme is not covered by the warranty.

2. SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The guarantee is only valid in countries of the European Community.

3. MATERIAL PROPERTIES
Variations in dimensions (up to 3%) and color may occur in hanit® recycled plastic products. Due to the production process, the surfaces of recycled products may be textured, and profiles and finished parts may contain inclusions or voids.

4. WARRANTY CONDITIONS
If our hanit® plastic recycling products exhibit material defects during the warranty period when used and operated properly, we will replace the goods after inspection (replacement guarantee).

The prerequisite for our warranty service is that the products have been assembled and used in accordance with the provided assembly instructions and installation recommendations.

Any other reimbursement for transport costs, installation, reinstallation, consequential damages, dismantling or other costs is excluded from the warranty.

5. PROCESSING THE WARRANTY
For correct and prompt processing of warranty claims, please contact us in writing with the following attachments:

  • copy of invoice
  • Detailed description of the defect
  • Images and/or samples of the product in question

6. EXCLUSION OF WARRANTY
The following are excluded from the warranty:

  • Defects resulting from normal wear and tear.
  • Defects such as discoloration or expansion caused by climate and weather conditions.
  • Defects attributable to the behavior of the customer or third parties (improper use and assembly, modification of the product, use of foreign parts, improper transport, packaging and storage).
  • Reinforced posts with a 5-year warranty

7. COMPETENT JURISDICTION
The place of jurisdiction is the supplier's registered office. This warranty applies in addition to our general terms and conditions. German law applies exclusively.
